The check was presented to The World Game Special Olympics which took place that year in Hamden CT. and was sponsored by Quinnipiac University.

THE END OF AN ERA….

THE MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND CLASSIC CAR SHOW

Due to many reasons, several of which are beyond our control, we have come to a decision to discontinue the annual Connecticut Classic Chevy Memorial Day Weekend Classic Car Show.

We want to thank our Gold Sponsor the Tagliatela Family, Quinnipiac University, the Hamden Police Department, the Town of Hamden, their mayors and police chiefs – past and present along with all our other generous sponsors too numerous to mention. Also, a special thank you to our club members and their families, the volunteers, and all those involved behind the scenes for their help and support over the past thirty successful years.

We especially want to thank all of you - the show participants that proudly displayed their cherished vehicles year after year. For without each and every one of you, there would never have been a show!

Our goal was to support local charities within our surrounding community. We are proud to say that we were able to donate over $700.000 during this successful 30-year run.
